Charity, medicine

education, and humanistic culture. These four overarching missions of non-government organization (NGO) Tzu Chi Foundation served the Philippines well especially during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Truth is, Tzu Chi has been serving Filipinos for decades. The foundation started in the 1960s, with the initiative of its founder, Master Cheng Yen, who started it all with a charity mission in Taiwan. This coming November 8, the foundation will celebrate the 28th anniversary of its arrival in the Philippines. LEAGUE Magazine wishes them more power so they can help more people live a comfortable and healthy life.
